Health Management Associates (HMA), a national healthcare research and consulting firm, has acquired Edrington Health Consulting (EHC), a healthcare actuarial and analytical firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Founded in 2014, EHC provides a range of data and analytics support services in Medicaid and Medicare, in collaboration with health plans, state agencies, providers and other stakeholders. The firm’s services include actuarial and financial analysis and strategy, supplier reimbursement and incentives, risk and efficiency analysis, and data warehousing and analysis.
The Arizona-based consulting company has about nine employees.
