WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Innovation Policy Solutions LLC (iPolicy), a leading government relations firm that promotes biomedical innovation through policy change, today announced the promotion of Megan Anderson Brooks, PhD, to position of President and the arrival of Lindsey Trischler as Director. In these new roles, Dr. Anderson Brooks and Ms. Trischler will seek to build on the company’s recent success, expand its customer base and enable broader patient access to innovative technologies.

Dr. Anderson Brooks will lead the firm’s legislative and appropriations practices. With fifteen years of combined professional experience in scientific research and policy advice, she specializes in implementing federal policy solutions that encourage the use and adoption of innovations in health care and technology. This includes science and regulatory policy related to basic and clinical science research, personalized medicine, federal oversight of diagnostics and biotechnology devices, and patient-specific issues related to access and development of patient-centered treatments. . Earlier in his career, Dr. Anderson Brooks served as a Fellow of the Society for Neuroscience and the New Jersey Department of Health. She received a doctorate in neuroscience from Rutgers University and received a fellowship from the Eagleton Institute of Politics.

Ms. Trischler will be responsible for supporting the firm’s work focused on patient access and coalition building. During her career, she has focused on state and federal policy issues, including patient access to affordable care while working at the International Myeloma Foundation. Ms. Trischler has also been integral in leading a coalition of more than 80 members advocating for federal funding for medical research, prevention and public health. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and policy from American University and a bachelor of arts in communications and public relations from the University of Cincinnati.
