KSBY’s 10th annual Season of Hope is in full swing and community generosity continues to flow.
On Wednesday night, we were live in Arroyo Grande at the Coastal Communities Physicians Network to collect donations.
During our live fundraiser, Jay Hieatt, along with the law firm Hall, Hieatt & Connely, presented a check for $ 1,000 to the SLO Food Bank.
âWe have been in the community for over 30 years so we believe it is important to give back and we are thrilled to be able to make a donation that we know will stay in our community,â Hieatt said.
The check was presented to the CEO of the food bank, Garrett Olsen, who said this generous contribution of $ 1,000 will provide a total of 7,000 meals to community members in need.
KSBY would like to thank everyone who donated to Season of Hope, and if you haven’t donated yet, we still have a month left for the toy and food drive.
The campaign gives community members, businesses, organizations and others the opportunity to come together and donate to help our neighbors in need this holiday season.
You can drop off new, unwrapped toys and non-perishable foods at over 100 locations in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties.

The campaign runs until December 17.
