familiar creatures was in charge of marketing Duke’s Mayois the second annual Hot Tomato Summer, a week-long event held in July featuring tomato and mayonnaise pairings from local restaurants. The works included an event logo and promotional activities.

Marcus reamer

Green Fin Studio hiring Marcus reamer as responsible for environmental communication. He is completing a doctorate in environmental science and policy at the University of Miami and served as director of strategic communications for the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation.

Torx was contracted by DMA Reserves develop a content management system to manage its bidding process. The work is the first phase of a larger project to overhaul the local consultancy’s client management platform.

Torx was hired by the Lancaster-based company Twin Branch Wellness and Recovery for Women to create and manage a multi-faceted digital marketing campaign. The campaign aims to increase brand awareness and reach women in central and northern Virginia who are trying to overcome substance abuse and chemical dependencies.

The King’s Agency hiring Michael Walsh as senior art director. The Virginia Tech alum was previously at familiar creatures and worked in Boston at Arnold Worldwide, MullenLowe and Digitas.

Shapes and colors by Jolinda was hired by a public relations company Companies of Gray Ryan and The Anderson Accounting and Consulting Group for website redesigns. The Anderson Group, formerly Nadia Anderson CPA, also rebranded.
